1-Wall Line Dance

Line dances consist of a short sequence of steps that are repeated throughout the song. In this class the steps are choreographed so that there are no turns and dancers remain facing the front wall. Dances are danced to contemporary music. This class is for all ages and abilities.

Ballroom Fitness

This dance fitness class is based on Latin and Ballroom dance steps. A bit like Zumba only with ballroom music and moves.

Ballroom STEP 1: Steps & Timing

STEP 1 classes focus on learning the steps and timing of a dance style without a partner. Dancing without a partner facilitates mastery of the steps, increases balance, and improves posture while building self-confidence. Partners are welcome but will dance on their own.

Ballroom STEP 2: Partner Dancing

STEP 2 classes focus on learning the steps and timing of a dance style with a partner. In addition to learning steps, couples will learn correct frame, lead and follow techniques, and modifications to accommodate physical needs such as height difference and joint limitations.

Ballroom STEP 3: Workshop & Social

STEP 3 workshops focus on learning a sequence of 8-10 steps. Dancing a prescribed sequence improves fluidity in transitions and continuity in dance. Workshops are followed by refreshments and a social.
3rd Saturday 7:15 - 9:15 pm

Basic Social Dance

In this class there is nothing to memorize. Participants focus primarily on the music being played and their connection with their partner. This is dancing reduced to it's simplest form.

Burlesque Basics

Burlesque Basics is a fun, beginner-level introduction to feminine movement. We will bring out your sultry feminine side in a positive, playful atmosphere. No dance experience is necessary. Knee pads and socks are highly recommended for comfort.

Country Dance For Beginners
