Gentle Tai Chi-Qigong

Friday 1 - 1:55 pm

"BEGINNER" Gentle Tai Chi-Qigong consists of gentle stretches and exercise that help improve circulation and release stress. Because the moves are stationary, it is an ideal form of exercise for anyone that has balance issues. This class is a great way to get introduced to tai chi.

The Gentle Tai Chi moves can be done sitting in a chair if needed.

Gentle Tai Chi Sequences

Tuesday 1 - 1:55 pm

"BEGINNER" This class is slightly more rigorous than the Gentle Tai Chi-Qigong class. Individual moves from Easy Tai Chi-Qigong are combined in continuous fluid sequences that are stationary.  Gentle Tai Chi Sequences provides all the benefits of Gentle Tai Chi - Qigong with the additional health benefits that come from memorization, fluidity of motion, transition from move to move, extended stamina, and correctness of arm and body positions.

Social Ballroom STEP 1

Tuesday 6:30-7:25 pm

"BEGINNER/SOCIAL" These are our “introductory/sampler” classes. They are great for those just getting started in ballroom or those who have some ballroom background but have been away for a while. Each class covers 2 styles. The same 2 styles are taught for 4 consecutive weeks. Examples include waltz/rumba, swing/foxtrot, and cha cha/tango. Each of the 4 weeks stands on its own. So, even though it is highly recommended, it is not necessary to attend all 4 weeks.

West Coast Swing for Beginners

Not Scheduled

"BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE" In this class you will learn the foundations for being confident on the floor when dancing West Coast Swing. Even though the short sequences taught each week are often at the intermediate level, each step is taught from the beginning, assuming no prior West Coast knowledge. The basic steps of sugar push, right and left side passes, and whips are taught and reviewed regularly as part of learning the sequence being presented each week. Variations on the basics are taught to add dimension while strengthening the foundational skills. This class is good for beginners as well as seasoned West Coast dancers.
